 Post subject: leaky mast

what would cause my mast to leak it is sealed from top to bottom an this year it has water in it?

Could be a variety of things.

Seals break. Rivets corrode. Air pressure builds up inside the mast on a hot summer day and finds a way out.

Did you flip the boat over and turn turtle? There's a surprising amount of water pressure 26 feet down when your mast is pointed at the bottom.
