I have A 1983 Hobie 16 It has all white hulls with black pinstriping and lettering with Hobie Alter Signature Model on the aft side of both hulls. I am new to Hobie sailing And have not seen many boats but I cant recall this on any other boats.

they were generally Nationals boats. At the time came with upgrades that pretty much became standard. 6:1 low profile, adjustable jib travelers, righting lines, very good rudders, sail windows, etc.
