Hello, just joined the community with a Hobie Getaway last fall, not stopped smiling since. Any sailing up here in Vancouver, BC. I'm interested in joining some camping/raid trips.

On this note I see most folks carry a separat tent and camp on the beach. The tramp looks much more comfortable to me, has any one designed a tent to go over the wing seats?

Here is a few of us planning on camping at Monck Provincial Park

http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/monck/

It is located near Merit at Nicola lake, which is known as a sailing destination. We are thinking mid summer and possible over one of long weekends before that.

This would be about 3 h drive from Vancouver.

I've seen folks pitch a small tent right on the tramp. Those freestanding tents that don't require tent pegs :-)
I imagine you'd want some good insulation under you in colder months.

If it's not too wet then sleeping under the stars is not so bad.
