There seem to be a few good gps apps out there for the iPhone. I'm trying to decide between Boat Beacon, FlyToMap, iNavX, and Navionics (or let me know if you're using something even better that i don't know about!). I don't need all the details on them, but if you have experience with any of them, can you post the biggest pros and cons? Also, if you've used a couple can you tell me which one you thought was better and why?

Bian, Navionics has great vectorbased charts for the US. In my case, (Hawaii) probably the best. Full of other useful features and data. Easy to share tracks.

You may have to try 2 apps to find the best for your favorite playgrounds but I would start with Navionics.

Consider using iSailor as well. Very technical interface - best for use on an iPad mini, but I have not paid to see their Hawaii charts yet.
