Does anybody know what a reasonable cost would be to ship an 18 from east coast to west coast?

One Word, RoadTrip. OK, it's two words, one thought.

Find a hobie dealer and ask about buying the boxes the hulls come in, better yet, ask them how much to box up your 18. Freight would be for 3 individual packages. I would guess around 400-600 bucks. You might want to try UShip, you may find be able to find someone to piggyback it with another load. Sometimes they drive east to west and may not have a load to go back east, you may get a fairly cheap rate.

I could recommend a good guy - he just transported a TriFoiler for me. Very good work, did everything he said he was going to do.

As far as cost, most are going to want $1 to $1.50 per mile minimum.

Depending on when the boat ships there will be several trailers coming back from the F18 NA's in Oct.
