Hey guys (and gals).

Ok, as a newbie, I have about a dozen sails under my belt and I'm looking to venture out on a hull. Not sure what type of harness to go with as I'm still learning. I don't mind spending money as I want to make a good investment.

Let me know which way to go.

Thanks for you help!

Rich

I like the hobie convertible harness's we got. Only thing I can compare to is the old school butt buckets which SUCK!

The problem is that you won't know if a harness is comfortable to you until after you buy and try it. Good thing for eBay. Hint - it will take several outings to get any harness adjusted exactly the way you want. Don't lend it or let anyone else use it once you get it just right.

I have the Hobie Convertible and also the Hobie Skipper (?) which does not have the shoulder support. I believe both of them came with spreader bars (although I've replaced the standard spreaders with Bethwaite spreaders).

Well made items; I like them.
