PFD... Personal Flotation Device Looks awful pricey. Our Hobie (Made by Stohlquist) vest for cat sailing is $89.99 list. S6142XX (XX=Size) Any Hobie Dealer. |

I use an Extrasport PFD that is a paddling one. It has pockets for my radio, whistle, etc. The short height like paddling ones, or likely the Hobie one listed above make sitting on the tramp or using a trap harness much easier then a waterskiing style jacket. Extrasport also makes a PFD designed for women with padding strategically removed in the front for their comfort. Works fine for guys also. Finding a comfortable PFD makes people more likely to wear them more, which to me is the point of having them. |
