I was wondering where you guys are getting your aluminum for a spinnaker pole. I have the Hobie snuffer ring and just need a tube to complete my setup, But all I can find is aluminum piping which does not come in the 1 1/2 OD that is required for the Snuffer. Any help would be appreciated as I'm trying to avoid the HUGE shipping cost.

A friend of mine cut down a used wind surfing mast. Worked great. Probably find something like that on Craigslist or eBay.

I purchased two pieces of 1½" aluminum tube, made by Forespar. I considered a carbon sailboard mast but was concerned with longevity and ability to take abuse.

Go to onlinemetals.com
I bought an 10' long, 2" diameter aluminum thickwall tube for a beach wheel setup. You'd probably want the thin wall stuff for a spinnaker pole.

Second onlinemetals.com if you have to purchase. They ship from a couple of different locations and it cheaper then you might think.

I've used a carbon fiber windsurfer mast (black Ampro) that had the bottom part broken, forever on the 21. I think the kite is 550 sq. ft., and the boat is a heavy cat. Most of the force is held by the bridle lines, but I've never pitched (or even capsized) the 21.
