Yeah... My brain is skidding a little sidewards today :-)

Yeah... The ole brain is kidding a bit sideways today watching the frign snow fall again! :x

The idea is this...

A fairly short course, with some options on how to lay it out... But setting boundaries would be important... I imagine a reaching or nearly reaching course might work best..

For those who don't know, Roller Derby is timed sessions. you have the "pack" and one "Jammer" from each team.

Briefly In the pack generally there is a "pivot" for each team. Members of the pack are required to stay some distance from the pivot.

Jammers start behind the pack and first one through is "lead jammer" (can end the "jam" early) and jammers score by lapping the pack.

I think with some boundaries this could create all kinds of teachable moments operating within the bounds of the racing rules of sailing.

It could work with even just 4 boats... More fun with 6... a total riot with 8...

What ya think? A good Saturday night fleet game?
