They would be 2nd in line, OEM Hobie is always #1.

More expensive, but worth every penny.

I've done business with them in the past and had a very good experience. There was a minor problem with my order and they took care of it with no questions. Great customer service.

Hobie stuff is higher quality, but the guys at SLO do nice work for the price.

I have one of their one piece tramps on my OLD 16. If you are going to replace with other than Hobie OEM, I'd highly recommend. Hobie welds rather than sews tramps-always better. The SLO tramp I've got seems to be a great product. Got it with the Tenara thread. If it lasts half as long as the Hobie mesh tramp it replaced, I did OK! Wish Hobie would offer a one piece for those of us who don't race- even if it's not class legal...
. Matt?

SLO Sails has done lots of custom work for me like boat covers, sail repair, tramp repairs and spinnaker work. They also support our Local Hobie Fleet 259 and take care of us when it is time for regattas. They will/are a Sponcer of the Hobie H18, H20 Tiger/Wildcat NACs this year at Huntington Lake California.

Good folks and good customer service.

Hobie Factory ones are the best for durability ( factory one on my current H16 ), however I sold one of my H16's that was a mid 80's model that i put a SLO one peice tramp on and i absolutely loved it, sailed it for about 4 months before i sold the boat. Very comfortable, very clean, lines never fell through and dragged behind boat and it was very very easy on the knees. Anyone I took out on it loved it as well. For a non racer/casual sailor or as an inexpensive replacement on an older boat, I highly recommend them! For any/all other parts tho I always buy genuine Hobie.
Tim
