Hello!

I have an outfitter and live on the whitsundays, Qld, Australia and thinking of doing a island hopping trip. Just wondering if anyone has experienced taking an outfitter out on semi-open waters? how'd it go?

Given some of the distances I'm thinking the sail and outriggers will be a big help (added stability, less paddling, etc.).

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

You should consider purchasing a Hobie Island for open water trips. Plenty of groups with Hobie Islands who share sailing adventures in and around Australia.
