Does anyone remember the Hobie rudder shaping tool? I believe that it had an upside down "V" that could easily shape the rudders. Are they still available?

Not your wifes, get yourself a pair at the hardware store for your sailing kit.

They haven't been available for years but I've got one. They work great on the original lexan and EPOs. Two passes and your rudders are mute.

They're tricky on the newer rudders. If you don't have a steady hand you'll end up with a scaloped trailing edge.

How do you hold the scissors steady? How wide should the scissors be open?
