Bundy On!

What a great event! Next time you should make it out here. Hopefully we will have more events in Alameda. The Venue is great, and the wind is good, but it's the Hobie people that make an event!

Congrats to:
#1 Aaron Worrall and Brad Wilson I've never seen a Hobie 16 go faster!
#2 Armando and Rodrigo the Technical North American Champs
#3 Team Puerto Rico
#4 Team Hobie

These guys sparred off all week, and it was truly great to watch.

From the chase boat I get to see all of the best racing. A few highlights for me were watching Gordo port the whole fleet and hold on for a 1st. And, Lizzie and Sarah (Youth racers from Miami) finding a hole not much wider than a 16 and porting the whole fleet but 2 boats. Imagine having 50 16's bearing down on your transoms. Beautiful racing, girls!!

Oh yeah, the Raffle boat.
I'm not sure what an outstanding Hobie 20 Champ is going to do with a 16, but congrats to George Pedrick. He is the winner of the Division 3 Raffle boat... and all around great guy.

Thank you for supporting our event by purchasing raffle tickets! We will be sure to reciprocate if your division has a raffle!!

Dang. I thought for sure I won that thing. Glad to hear the event went great. Congrats to Mr. Pedrick. If you have any bad karma you're trying to dissolve I'll understand your donation. I'll be glad to help you re-align by accepting your donation of a new 16. Nah, just kidding. Sail her hard.
