Matt, I mailed in my $110 check for HCA membership on 11.19.06 and haven't seen a Hotline yet. I don't want to complain too much but I was looking forward to getting it. Reading it online just isn't the same.

For anyone (including Karl) who's not been getting their Hotlines:

Send Tara Ames an e-mail at [email protected]

I don't have the master membership list, so telling me doesn't add your name to it.

Karl - you going to Daggerless, right? I'll bring you back issues this weekend.

Back issues??? Do you have a copy of August/September 1985?

I'd like to know who beat us in the '85 Mid-Eastern Championships :)

I'll be at the Daggerless. Should be getting there late Thursday night. I haven't gotten a chance to get out on the water yet so I'm hoping to knock the cobwebs out on Friday. Or if there's no wind I might go golfing. Or at least drinking and hitting a small white ball.

It would either be the July/Aug 85 or the Sept/Oct 85 issue. I'll see if I can find it - but I don't have extras going back that far.

I've got extras going back to 2003, just before I took over the production of the magazine.

I wasn't expecting you to have an extra copy, but seriously I'd like to see the results from that event.

On the question of back issues, I love to get a paper copy of the March/April 2006 Hotline.

Any change one is available?

John - I'll put one in the mail to you tomorrow - I don't have any more of them here at work.

John Eaton...

Don't take Mr. Bounds to task when it comes to back issues of the Hotline/NAHCA News/Hotline (again) As the "unofficial" Hobie Class historian, Matt has mags that go back before time. I know, I've seen them spread out on the dinner table at our last fleet Christmas party. Where do you think he gets his "Hobie History" stuff  Keep up the great work Matt and let Mr. Eaton know who beat him at the 1985 Mid-Eastern Championship.

:( I haven't heard from MBounds about the back issue of March/April 2006. I guess old copy is harder to come.

MBounds - If you have a copy, contact me at [email protected]. I'd be willing to pay shipping, plus.

Thanks.

Sorry John,

It's been sitting on the credenza in my office for a while now - just never seem to get to it. For sure going in the mail today.

(I have your address from the mailing list)

Matt
