Maybe travel south for winter :) The photo was a couple of weeks ago on Pittwater near Sydney.
Image I bought a Hobie Wave a couple of months ago after spending a day on my brother's Hanse 540 - I reckon my boat is more fun!!!

I have considered going south for a couple of years now. The older I get the more I understand the Snow Bird philosopy. The problem with that is there are way too many others with the same philosophy. Especially where there is enough water to sail!! Coeur d Alene is far from being considered a good sailing lake but the summers here are un-beatable and I will have to put up with the winters and putting the H16 in the storage garage for a few more years. And yes it can make for a LONG winter waiting to get back on the water.
