To any of you in the Southwestern Ontario, Canda region. Myself and several others are working on the establishment of a new fleet in the area.

Our first meeting will be held Saturday, October 27th at noon at the Tim Hortons on Dundas at Industrial Road in London. The primary purpose of this meeting will be ... well first of all to make sure we have enough interest in the area and if we do .... we are hoping to complete the application process.

If you are in the area please attend the meeting.

Thanks![/b]

I am in Ottawa, so that is a bit far for a trip to Tim's but what is the area you plan on covering. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

We (Hobie Fleet 276 in Detroit) would love to have you guys down to our regatta in Port Burwell this June. After all, it's really in your backyard, not ours.

We just don't have a nice place around here to hold a regatta.

We even had wind last year!

The only beaches around here big enough to host a regatta are reserved for swimmers - when they aren't closed for high e-coli counts.

Frickin' goose crap pollutes all the lakes.

But southern Ontario is a different story:

I think we will be part of Division 10. Regata De Gatos is definitely on the agenda for next year.

I am very pleased to say we have enough members to get this thing off the ground :D . We voted in our committee today and have scheduled our next meeting. The application process is well on its way!!

The more the merrier. If you want in email me.
