My idea of dry on a cool day is the Hobie 16, with its tramp well elevated above the water.

My idea of comfort is the Hobie 18 with Magnum wings, lean back and lounge with the awesome wings as a back rest (life doesn't get much better than this!). And on a cool day, if the wind kicks up, sit up on the wings.

I know it's difficult at times to restrain oneself but we can sail a cat without water spraying everywhere :)

Yes John, You have the idea. Wings that will help me stay dry and comfortable all year long. I'm looking forward to trying mine new (used) ones this year.

For those of you wanting to stay dry, you can always try a Flying Scot or Lightning class monohull. Used ones are inexpensive, (but not a cheap as a used H-16)

Guys:

I have seen them on EBay every now and then. When you search use all options and sometime you will see them show up.

I have the hobie holder 14 and I absolutely love it :D
Wonder if they could make a mold from the boat...
That would solve the problem of no molds... Just a suggestion
