What is is the expected price range and availability datefor the new tandum. Any estimate will be greatly appreciated as I could start saving now and ease my wife into submition. The more time I have the greater the possibility of her blessings.

Thanks,

I estimate that, in the US, the first boats will start reaching dealers in April.

MSRP (USA / USD) $4,699.00

Matt, thanks for the info. As a proud and happy owner of an H16 who loves to sail with my wife and kids the tandem just looks like another wonderful Hobie product to add to the armada. Now that I am armed with some info. time to start dropping the hints to my wife.

Cheers,
George

Here we go again I was quoted £4,500. Hobie really needs to sort out its UK pricing, or find a UK importer, something just isn't right, going through a European importer sucks, no wonder Hobie kayaks are few and far between here in the UK, OK and Perception price realistically, hence they are the biggest sellers...

I can't confirm how OK and the others you listed may be priced, but you have to take into account ocean freight, duty, taxes, costs of distribution... just to get these to Europe or elsewhere in the World. Even in the US buyers pay taxes and freight on top of the suggest list price.

I suspect you will see more and more Hobie product over there regardless of pricing. We have only been selling these for a short period compared to US sales and the growth in that market has been strong.

in Germany the AI and TI are also very expensive compared to the U.S. prices -

but I think they are very cheap for what a fantastic product you get

first time I looked at the German price for the AI I thought, wow, that´s not much for such an interesting and fun giving boat

5,500.00 Australian dollars = 3,314.05 British pounds sterling.

Is shipping to Australia that much cheaper than to the UK?
