A dealer mentioned, in passing, something about new, longer, Mirage Drive fins. Is there any more information about that?
Thanks
Jonathan

The longer fins are not yet available. They are still in R&D.

They are a little longer, have a flat head shape (squared off) and have a new core that is designed to hold the foil shape more consistently under load.

We are still reviewing materials for the best stiffness.

They will push the Mirage faster with a slower cadence.

Thanks.
Would the new fins be intended to retrofit into exiting Mirage drives?

They are intended to fit all drives. The Adventure included. Not likely to be standard on any model. We are planning a kit. Two long fins and two longer masts.
