It's only a flat 300 Metres, (328 Yards), to the Boat Ramp at the Campground so why hand-haul a fully loaded Hobie Adventure Island or dissasemble it when you can combine Two of your favourite activities.
I have a bad hip and dont like walking too far but I can cycle no probs, I'm tired after a long day Sailing and this sure beats hand-pulling the boat home or loading it onto the car roof.

Standard Hobie Scupper Cart used, hitch is cobbled from a short peice of 2x4 strapped onto the rear rack with a bungee tie-down.
The Trike is an Alloy, "Expedition", built by Catrike of Florida, economy Trikes can be purchased from KMX Karts or Terratrike.

Nice work Max! 8)
I've forwarded your post on to my mate Jason who has a Greenspeed.
Towing an AI behind his trike was one of the options we were looking at if he was to get an AI.
Great to see it can be done! :)

Thanks Man,
It looks a bit "Frankenstien" as Matt would say but it was a quick & dirty build that worked better than I imagined.
Can turn in it's own length as no tow-hitch angle limits, it would feel even better with the new hobie Cart and Cart collars.

Or if you want to do it properly the Trike kayak-trailers below are something the builder can be proud of, maybe give your friend some ideas.
