Yeah, too bad I shut the camera off before we hit the rocks...twice...and dangerous Dave went through the main... :-( that would have been good footage, you all could have had a good laugh while money flies outta my wallet!

I had a crew go through the main. I know that pain. Now I always carry 2 to ev ery race.

Looked like a rather calm flat day. I do not think you needed the daggerboards up at all in that...maybe it was more that it appeared. When does the chute go up? You will like it more downwind as it calms the boat down rather than making is scarier.

The boards were up not to depower the boat, I was a little overwhelmed and forgot to put them back down after we hit some rocks... Let's just say I've learned the ins and outs of fiberglass repairs!!! And oh yeah, Rich, I brought the sails to North Sails in Newport, fixed the hole on the main and the jib zipper for $150! That's a good deal, I think!
