I checked out the Brunton SolarFlat which led me to other Brunton solar chargers. They also have a product called the SolarRoll (also waterproof) which comes in 4.5, 9 and 14 watt models that can be rolled up and stored in a tube. They're a bit pricey but will definitely save some space over the SolarFlat. Moosejaw currently has all Brunton products on sale at 20% off and I'm waiting to hear from them as to whether the 9 watter becomes a 4.5 when rolled up half way. I can use the 9 watt model to charge my cameras, VHF radio, GPS and other electrical devices. The sale runs through 6-13-10 if you decide to treat yourself!
