I'm not real sure on this. Been in a PA but never noticed or asked. Do the pedals and flippers come out of the kayak for transportation? I'm thinking that they do. But can you use the PA without the pedals and flippers and just use a paddle? Is there a plug for the hole?

I'm new on this one and trying to learn as much about em before I pick mine up on Thursday.

Yes to all, IO,
To avoid the possibility of damage, I think it best to remove the Mirage drive while putting in, taking out and in transit. Paddling the PA can be a bit of a workout in windy/wavy conditions but moves along fairly well otherwise. Standing and paddling is a nice option if you're into sight fishing but, of course, be safety conscious! Your PA should arrive with an insert that can be put in place once the Mirage Drive is removed. Some choose to toss them but I've kept mine.

Sounds like you have an exciting Thursday coming up... congratulations and enjoy the new toy!
