Hey Everyone,
I have NO idea how to rig the system that's on my boat. The traveller has a jam built into it (vs just a hole for the sheet to run through), there's no swivel cleat attached to my boat, and the pulley system from the boom has its own jam (I call it a jam but it's the two "toothy bits that lock the line). Does this make ANY sense to anyone as to what I have an how to rig it? (I can get a pic on the week-end) I can't find anything similar online and it doesn't match the rigging set-up in the PDF of the manual I d/l from this site.

Anyone?

Chris

May be really old?

May have two small stainless "V" jams riveted to the rear beam half way out to the castings on each side? That would have two seperate control lines to pull the car or limit travel.

If that can helps, I have currently this on my 1973 H14T :

I've ordered everything to have a more modern & convenient setup : the cam cleat thing of the traveller track is going to be removed and a swivel thing is about to be fixed on the center of the beam along with a eyestrap.
Next year I'll change the track and traveller.

See pictures below, the swivel thing I have is the one available sold by Hobie Cat Europe (40euros = 48$) and is now black and not blue like on the picture :

Yep that's it!

So can someone walk me through how it all rigs?

Basically, the main sheet goes from one block through the second one, then to the swivel thing, then through the traveler and is finished by a knot behind the eyestrap.
This way, the traveller can be set as needed as the swivel thing have cleats.
