Any one using 3/16 on their 17? I use it on my 18 and love it but on the 17, it falls out of the mast track! bummer.

I do, the 1/4 seems so bulky. Yes it does fall out of the track, so I use ball bungees when trailering.

Thanks. but when I sailed it flopped around and slapped on the sail. Now I'm thinking maybe I raised it wrong (it was out when I raised it??) Yeah, I mean, how's it going to come out once the sail is up? I can't mentally handle this being away from the boat.

Oh I see. When raising the main sail be sure the inner halyard is in the track between the main sail and the mast. That way it is tucked away when sailing.
