I see its 88lbs hull and 138lbs fully rigged.... my question is.... whats considered fully rigged? whats the weight as it comes from the factory? I want to know how light i can make it if i want for a long hike in.... thanks...


i am at a toss up on the outback and pro angler....

I've got both... and let me say this..... If I found it necessary to hike in, or out.... the PA would probably stay there. Someone else could take it home. :lol: If you're thinking you'll do some portaging, go with the Outback. Believe me. I love em both but wouldn't consider going for a stroll with the PA very far and dang sure not off a path. :roll: Smooth path. Short path.

"Fully rigged" is the hatches, rod holders, boards and other attached hardware included.

well if the outback only had a flat floor i would go with it... but i plan on doing mostly fly fishing and will spend most of my time standing... most of the time i will be putting the boat in at a launch.... but i did have a thought of a few off path locations...
