The seal on my air hand pump for a Mirage Tandem kayak has disintegrated. I'm looking for a replacement seal. Is the part available at Hobie? If not, what are the dimensions (ID, OD, thickness)? Also, recommended material specs if shopping at an seal OEM supplier?

Note to Hobie, this is basically a new pump with only 6-8 uses.

Thanks, Al

Maybe a lubricant used has damaged the O-ring... we don't have this sort of report ongoing.

There are two sizes listed:

79052013 (large) and 79052014 (small) Depends on the wall thickness of the pump barrel.

Thanks - it sounds like there's a replacement part
1) is that a dealer/distributer part? or can I order directly thru you?
2) the wall thickness of my pump is very close to 6mm (or a tight 1/4 in). I'm not sure how accurate my measurement needs to be because I don't knowing what I'd be comparing to.
3) BTW - I've only used silicone grease, but this was a floor model kayak and it sat in storage all winter

Contact your dealer. Likely the easiest is to send you both sizes unless that wall thickness dim is enough for our engineers to tell us which one is right. I think we would send these at no charge.
