Do you know of a standard web tool that could be added to a Division's web page that would allow messages to be sent to Division members that have signed up to receive messages (i.e., local distribution list)? This new forum is great but we have also been discussing some way to add the ability distribute an email notice to the people that sign up on the distribution list. Since this seems like a function that might be desired by other Divisions that are using the new/standardized Division web page format, I volunteered to check into it. I will also check with Matt Bounds to see what he may be aware of. Thanks.

Nothing that I know how to do. We send bulletin emails via the traditional way here at Hobie Cat.

You can't get an auto-email for a new post, but this board will email you replies to threads you have posted to (it's under your profile when you are logged in, or you can check the box at the bottom right above Preview/Submit when replying to or creating a thread.

If the board is reasonably active, you won't need to send an email - people will check all the time anyway
