Can anyone tell me what the max load or crew weight is on a H14T? Also, the H14-16 parts guide shows only one jib sheet at 32 ft. Is 32 ft accurate for the 14T?

I was out with my 14t in calm winds with 2 persons, all together near 150 lbs. No problem while cruising slowly around (cup of coffee and cake inclusive).
One day later I sailed in winds nearly about 5 bft. The hull started to fly - but the leeward hull started also to submarine (not good)
The tramp was nearly 50% under water, but I was able to manage the situation.
If you want fun: One person is enough for a 14t!

Have great sailing days!

All together 150 lbs or do you mean each 150 lbs? Or did you mean 150 kg? 150 lbs total for two people would be like two 12 year old kids. Sorry, I'm having some difficulty visualizing two children drinking coffee, eating cake and sailing a Hobie cat.

Hey cat sailor I'm with you on that I just purchased a 14 for a super deal and now I'm reading a lot of conflicting posts about weight limitations for that cat some say that they cruise around with 400lbs and some say 170lbs is the max. I'm weighing in at 190lbs and am just going to have to give it a shot for myself.

What's this wind speed in MPH ?

I'm considering using an H14 50% solo (me = 175 lbs) and 50% tandom with my teen daughter (total = 315 lbs) in winds of 10-25 MPH. Would this be alright?

H14 is an absolute blast in these conditions at your weight. Adding another 140lbs and handling is very sluggish and you have to be very senstive about weight placement. Still doable.
