Hi,

I need to disassemble the mast of my getaway for moving …
Is that reasonable?
Can that be unglued, re-glued and still be good and reliable?
What would be the proper procedure?
What king of glue is that?

Thanks and best regards.

Its a 2 part epoxy they use, if you get a propane torch use a little heat it should soften up, not too much or you will melt the com-tip. Try wiggling the com-tip from the end if you can get a little flex there, it might break the glue joint. I got my mast stuck under a dock once and the wiggle factor broke the glue joint. I took the tip off cleaned it, and re-glued it. its been fine ever since.
