Just curious to hear what some of you PA owners do with your paddle. I still haven't found what I would call a perfect solution. :?

Lately, I've been keeping the paddle in half, with the T-handle. It's stowed in the paddle clip with the blade end alongside the seat. I have found it stays put there, is easy to reach in a hurry, and does'nt get in the way, much. The other half of the paddle is inside the hull, to be retrieved in case of a (god forbid) mirage drive failure.

yeah, it's a real problem. I often encounter shallow water and need to paddle. don't know why Hobie didn't put in a place for it on the outside of the hull like on their other yaks. don't like it inside because of things getting tangled and getting in the way of fishing.

use full paddle keep on right side one blade under front bungie and then off to the side, not in the way of cart or rear rod holder underway

I store my paddle in two clips that I got at West Marine that are zip tied to the left side rail. I have the paddle situated so that it is as far to the rear of the yak as it will go, works well for me and is out of the way while still easily accessed.

I have mine in oar mode, blade under cargo bungie and oar handle wedges nice under right rail. Cannot use the built in holder due to the hd wheels.

I tried getting the other half in the hull but could not due to the floatation foam inside.

I use paddle keepers from http://www.surftosummit.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=paddle+clips&osCsid=6l58gnnqve380nl2cfhgr4k8g2&x=0&y=0
(Paddle Keepers set of two-kayak paddle holder Item #KAC903 $16.00)
clipped to starboard side hand rails. It hangs over the side out of the way.
