Interested to know if the 2011 aka braces connects the AKA to the hull forward of the person (like on the original AIs) or behind the person (like on the new TI).

The brace connection is unchanged on the AI. It is forward.

When is the test sail?
Its kind of wet and gray so the pictures on the water won't be as bright.

Nohuhu,

Very nice! If Batman wanted to kayak...

Looks like I can possibly interchange parts from my TI with a future Adventure purchase.

Aloha,

c2y

PassWind- don't believe everything they tell ya. In fact, disregard most of it.

KBob - Now there's an idea. It not only sails great but as you can see, it has picnic seating for 8. You bring da Ahi fo sashimi, K?

Sammy - that's a custom wave deflector, removable and upgradable for different ocean conditions.

Fly4v - it had it's maiden voyage a couple months ago off Waikiki. Batman was pleased.

Holy funny-bone Cliff - you crack me up!

Would love to hear more about TI Ama's on AI Aka's - fit, function, etc

Hmm... That's actually a pretty good idea. With a folding table on one side and a folding bench on the other, not only would it be easier to carry camping equipment and supplies, but would have a dual use later at the campsite!
