THIS JUST IN
I got this E-Mail from Matt Miller around 2 PM Today. 23 Jun 2010.

Update...
The Hobie 18 hulls are finished. Australia is quoting a US bound container.
I'll update again when we get a solid eta.

Hooray ! ! !
I'm so excited I'd go meet the container at the port if I thought I could lay hands on our new hulls.

Matt M - any new info on the hull status? In the USA? Shipping out to the dealers soon?

The hulls are due this month in the US. Not sure of the date yet.

Hulls were received in August while I as in China... Most have shipped, but your set is on hold for you.

I just picked up my brand new 18 hulls yesterday. I haven't fully taken them out of the box, but from what I've seen they are beautiful. The fit and finish seems to be excellent. I almost want to put them on display instead of dragging them into the murky waters. If I can get someone to help me take it out of the box, I'll post some photos.

I hereby serve notice that I am the owner of one of these beautiful sets of brand new hulls, and am making them available to anyone interested.
Thanks to the kind cooperation of the Hobie Cat company (thanks Matt), they are being held at their warehouse for a waiting period of new interest.

If anyone is interested in this set, please post here or contact your favorite Hobie Cat dealer.

The method and sale price should be through your dealer, original price as stated in this original offer by Hobie Cat, no personal dealings. Hobie Cat will then ship the hulls to its new owner.

If there is no interest after an undefined period of time, I will simply take delivery of the hulls myself.

The new owner will have saved himself all the financial carry of the deposit required, so this is a good deal.

Thanks so much Al. For those who took advantage of the offer... Al was a major reason we went forward on the offer. His early order and continued support allowed us to go forward.

Pictures sell.

Anyone have any images of those babies ??

With new high performance boats priced at >$17K seems like a deal. Wonder what the total would be for hulls, mast, sails, rudders, daggerboards, etc.. considering the 20% off accessories with the purchase of the hulls.

Don't know if i could resist......

If I could post pics, I would. But, the hulls are at the factory, so I cannot.

All of us bought our set sans pictures. Use your imagination if you are a serious buyer.

They are Hobie 18 hulls.

They're white.

What else do you need?
