Hmmmm....??? The site shows the event as "Mid-Winter Hobie Regatta", not "Midwinters West". 50 - 70 boats...I doubt it very seriously. Someone is really dreaming and in la la land if they want us to believe that. The days of large two day regattas are over :( Please remember that "Midwinters West" as we have all known it to be is history. It'll not be an area championship regatta again as the "championship" designation has been awarded to the San Diego Classic (usually held in June). The name "Midwinters West" was awarded to the Lake Havasu fleet to use for a regular two day event, not a championship event.
