When i got my 2008 tiger from the dealer it was on rollers and they damaged my hulls. Just wondering if i was suppose to get cradles them with my boat. Also did you get dagger boards cover with your boat and anything other that i am missing

Not everybody buys a trailer.

Cradles are part of the trailer, not the boat.

However, if you buy the boat and trailer together from a dealer, the trailer should be equipped with cradles. You'd hope the dealer would know that.

I think the FXone came with six cradles, but I've never heard of a Tiger coming with them.

Cradles do not come with the boat unless otherwise specified. They are an option. When I purchased my double stack Trailex in 2002, I spent a small fortune on 10 Tiger cradles...4 for the bottom rack, 4 for the top rack and 2 for the beachwheels. When I picked up my Wild Cat I had pre-ordered six Wild Cat cradles...since they are different than the Tiger...and installed four of them on the trailer prior to moving the boat. Cradles are the best insurance for protecting your hulls and spreading the load over a larger hull surface area.

Well said, Tigerboy!

However, if you are dealing with several types of Hobies, like in a club environment, it's virtually impossible to get trailers and beach wheels with cradles to match all the boats. In fact, at my club here in West Africa, we have one single set of beach wheels, crafted from a steel pipe and two Vespa (scooter) wheels, without any cradles at all. They're heavy and clumsy. But they do work on all our boats, including H14, H16, H21 and Dart.
