Jacques...

Rumor has it that these are available? Not the thin, white ones that come from the factory but the nice, padded, aftermarket ones. Haven't heard anything firm yet.

JB....
I'll contact my dealer regarding the rudder/daggerboard covers :D
Is the boat cover trailerable or is it storage only?
Already have stern bumpers/chocks.
Thanks for the info.

The cover is a nice quality item - but I don't think it is Trailer-able (those would cost twice as much) Its white in color, and fits snug.... nice looking.

You need one for X Mas - ask Santa..maybe he'll get you one!

The kinda that are kinda like an under armor type material?

They fall apart if you get them wet while trailering. I don't think they do much for UV either.

Hey Karl...

Were'nt those just for shipping AHPC hulls over here? Kinda like a sock...stretchy, thin material...looked cool...too bad they don't hold up.

I think the intent was it is a cover. I haven't gotten one with either of my AHPC boats. The hulls come wrapped in bubble wrap and in a box.

They do look cool though, and they do keep grime off the boat, but a friend destroyed his towing through a thunderstorm with some extreme wind (almost flipped the trailer over), and rain. Not sure if that is mis-use or just not a great product. Hard to say. It did hold up to a few trips to Florida, so....

(edit)-Personally I don't care for covers while trailering. There's too much room for something to flap around while going down the road, and if you get some sand in there, or a sharp rock it could really raise hell with the finish. The best thing you can do is get a trailer that protects your boat from stuff getting kicked up by the tow vehicle.
