Whats up with the Blue Wilcat at the Paris boat show? Love the blue main. What other colors are available and when?

Custom hull colors have always been offered - that isn't new really, it just cost $$$ extra so we have only sold a few

The Blue sails are available, along with the Smoke / White/ and my favorite - RED!!!

You gonna pop for a new WC in 2011???

See you on the water Rich! :)

Definately by 2012 for the new WC. but that blue is dead sexy. Maybe that Fox lime green on the hulls and Blue sails.

Hey JB...

When did HCE come up with the blue sails? Love 'em...just wish I would have waited a bit before getting my WC. Smoke/black is good too :) Any chance for blue spins or is that now part of the overall blue sailplans?

Rich...

Colored hulls may be sexy but they are hard to take care of. Better off getting white...show less fade, wear 'n' tear...easier to fix/match if you crash. You'll be much happier in the long run.

We will have a couple (maybe 3) in Spring with blue sails. Honestly I'm not a fan - the blue is pretty much the same 'light-ish' blue they used on the Infusion sails - so to me its kind of dated already.. but I'm sure some people will love it.

I am pretty sure getting a Blue Spi isn't too difficult - I can have some brought in with our next shipment if you'd like - Smoke / Black is a hot combo (no pun intended)

Yes the white hulls are definately easier. We will probably go with the white hulls. Looking at the Blue one at the Paris boat show almost got the wife to say but we just spent alot on a new regatta mobile.

On a related note while the Blue is already in use I love the look. The smoke and White never really apealed to me. I still miss my "Sublime" sails on my 18. Would I be able to get the blue on a set of Tiger sails?

Yes - I can get Blue on Tiger if you want - it 'is' a special order though - with a couple month lead time last I checked.

What type of 'regatta mobile' did you get? My girl and I are looking for a small class C MoHo to goto regattas with the little one (she's preggers - we're expecting our baby end of May) So the three of us trying to couch surf is probably not going to happen much anymore - so I figured just get a room on wheels :)

I got a new Camper for my truck. Slides in the bed and comes off when not needed.

http://www.palominorv.com/site/default. ... l=maverick

we got the 8801 and are very happy with it. best part is with this set up no registration on the camper so we don't have another dmv bill.

Congrats on the little one one the way.

Rich...nice set up. You'll enjoy it. I had a 10.5 foot Lance nestled on a 3/4 ton Chevy Camper Special back in the '80's. Two vehicles really...pick-up or RV. Was a bear to drive up to/down from Huntington Lake  Try snow trips with it. I know Sierra Summit used to have about 50 RV spots with hook-ups. Just make sure you have your chains!

Jacques...congrats on your little one. Hope Sunny is doing well. You'll definitely get good use out of a Class C with a family. I've always liked the ability to stay on-site at regattas...or the comfort of traveling cross-country. Just be sure it has room (rack on top?) for your boards  Good luck with your decision.

Thanks JB

We had a camper already just upgraded to a nicer model. Makes long weekends at the lake alot nicer.

Jacques congrats to you and Sunny. So when will you know what your having? Skipper or Crew?

Thanks guys

I found out what we're having - but since Sunshine 'doesn't want to find out I am sworn to secrecy on the baby's gender. You will find out end of May with everyone else !(that is unless I convinced her to change her mind or she finds out...that is what I'm trying hard for) either way I am sure you'll see little Bernier on the race course before you know it!

Yeah - Class C is what I'm looking at - my Tacoma won't handle a slide-in type, those do look great though too.

Hey Jacques...

You should get a real truck  that will handle a slide in. See me when you're interested...I can get you a no-haggle price discount.

What about a set of Blue Sails foe a Tiger. Sail number 5150.
What colors are available for a spin? Are the cuts the same for the Tiger spin and the Wildcat spin?

You 'can' buy Blue sails for Tiger (only as a special order from EU - so there is a delay)

We have Blue Spis in stock for Tiger. The cloth is the same now for WC and Tiger - but the cut is slightly higher aspect ratio on the WC due to the lower pole location (thanks to the lower bridle attachment points on the WC vs the Tiger)

Performance gains are not really something measurable I'd think - both sail cuts are plenty competitive - and its not really that simple to put the WC spi onto a Tiger due to the luff length difference.

JB - thx for the truck offer - but I'm no in the market. :)
