Hi from Australia,

Upgraded to a Hobie Pro Angler a few weeks ago and just finshed with my setup. I am still waiting for the maiden voyage due to floods, cyclones and generally awful weather on the east coast of Australia at the moment.

The only issue I have now is storage. So far I have managed to do the wrong think by storing the boat on its hull for a few weeks and created a couple of flat spots. I am planning on making a frame to store the boat upside down on it's handles. If anyone has any tips on this that would be very helpful. Also any tips for getting the flat spots  out of the hull would be good.

Below are a couple of videos of my boat. Looking forward to the resources on this forum.

Welcome to PA crowd..........I know you are going to love your yak.

I store my Pro Angler on 3 extra large pool noodles.

I did get a flat spot or indention on the bottom one time and here are two ways to pop it back out:

1. The easiest is to leave it outside in the sun all day upside down. The heat of the sun usually will pop it back out to its original shape.

2. If that doesn't work pour hot or boiling water on the flat spot until it pops back into the original shape.

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum!

my PA had a couple of dents from leaving it on a trailer with the straps cinched down. I put the PA out in the sun upside down on a warm day and the dents were gone.
