Intersting note - This week, Boogie just caught a 100+lb boatload of fish and fought off 2 bull sharks to keep them.

All in Adventure mode.

Skill and stones. Someday, I would like to have both.

I think he hit them with something harder. A long SUP paddle as I recall.

You would only tickle them with those soft Hobie paddles.

Following a tip from Yakass, I carry a stakeout pole, for just such circumstances.

Here we make and carry a Kage (Japanese kayak gaff or spear, thanks Ahnko Honu). Honed to a razor sharp chisel point +8' SS tip! I've only used it on my catch so far, but anything getting too friendly will get poked.

I've so far not had a problem with the taxman (sharks), but Aloha Dan has had his Adventure (or AI in Adventure mode) bit a couple of times. Only about 100 miles away, but everything is bigger off the Big Island.
