The Spring Creek units are very cool, especially when you order the hardware powder-coated. They are also very pricey. $328 + about $50-60 for PC + shipping. I opted for the Sidekicks on my Adventure. Not as cool looking, but less than half the cost.

I really dig the Spring Creek Stabilizers. I have an Adventure that I recently added these stabilizers to. It is like a mini-island. I live in the Keys near an older US 1 bridge which requires me to bring down the sail every time I want to cross from the Gulf side to the Atlantic side. I have to cart my yak a quarter mile to the launch site. I also have to contend with a lot of shallow water and tide variances. The Adventure has worked perfectly for me. Sailing without the stabilizers is fine if the winds are less than 10 mph. Any gusts and the heeling effect puckers my cheeks. These stabilizers have made my sailing relaxing and fun.

After reading the Hobie Mirage Revolution Trimaran posts on the sailing forum, I got inspired by kbteachme & tomtrike. The 2011 Adventure has the pre-fabricated machined holes for the island upgrade. They are 1/4 -20 machine screw threads that are exactly 2-1/2 " apart. Chuck at Spring Creek was kind enough to custom fabricate the adapter plate for the stabilizers. All he had to do was drill out the adapter plate and add some custom washers. My stabilizers fit the new Adventure perfectly, and I can mount them in the front or the back. I find that the front mount is better for sailing as well as paddling and it allows me to freely use all the space in the rear of the boat.

Thanks for those pics . I am going to put a set of those on my Oasis ...
Also , please post more pics of the Keys . We were down there in January and already need another fix . We did most of our kayaking around Boot Key Harbor and Bahia Honda . I"ll bet you know a lot of great places to kayak ...

The Spring Creek Outriggers are nice. I mounted them on my Oasis behind the front passenger and they work great!
