Hi all introduce myself, my name is Fernando and I live in Spain, just recently I met the Island Tandem and completely in love with me, here in Spain are too expensive, if you know where to buy there in USA I am interested in importing one, or perhaps second hand. thank you very much try to read all the information you give is very useful for laymen like me.

Hi Fernaldo. Welcome to the forum. Of course you don't need a Hobie to be on the forum but It must be frustrating to not have the facilities to access a AI or TI from within your own country. Best of luck it getting one.

Hey Fernando, I would try Wind Cat House near Barcelona. we have had great service from them and a fair price.

thanks, I will contact with them, although in Spain are quite expensive, indeed, what is the average price they have in USA

The variation in the price of Hobies from region to region is weird. In Australia, an AI or TI is about 20% more expensive than in the US, which is probably fair, given shipping costs and fluctuations in the exchange rate, but now I'm looking to buy a Hobie Wave and it is 60% more than in the US. Go figure.
