I'm buying a wave this weekend from a private party, and being as they used it on a private lake and it is under 14, it is not registered (according to seller)......the trailer, is, though.

Is there any paperwork other than a Bill of Sale (which we can make up) with the hull number on that I will need to make certain this becomes mine?

Is there a title of sorts, even if not registered with the state, that comes with these? The unit is 7 years old....2003 or so.

If title is not created by the selling dealer... nothing goes with the boat as far as legal paperwork. You will need them to sign over the trailer to you though.
