Is there going to be a hobie get together at Jordan on the 15th of May? I would attend if such event were to be planned.

Have you guys posted this on the EMSA site? Most of the active sailors in this region talk thru the EMSA-sailing.org site and a yahoo group, catamarancrazy I believe. You typically will not find them here. Div 9 is considered to be inactive by most serious racers in the SE. Thats the reason they formed EMSA. There are several Hobie sailors in the Raleigh area and a couple in the triad. I think there is still a Fox in High Point that sails Oak Hollow, Ken Heybrock is the guys name. There are also several Nacras around that would likely show up, those guys can be found on Catsailor.com or thebeachcats.com.

I'm going to go get my boat next week from the coast so I will be ready.

I put a lot of that on "2011 Season" post.

Also, yes, there are quite a few veteran Hobie sailors in the Piedmont -- who are more interested in racing events and not as likely to sail in anything that does not have to do with racing.

What's the agenda for the 'fun day', like time people are showing up etc..? I'm planning on attending if the weather looks good, I'm about 3 hrs away. Will either be bringing a turbo 14 or an 18, haven't decided. Looks like all 16's so far.

Hey thanks for the offer of the boat ride :) I have had to reschedule this weekends event and will notify of new date very soon, most likely early June.
