If anyone has one for "sail" (joke)....seriously though I am looking to buy a snuffer used. Please contact me if you have one. Thanks!

PS its for a H21SE so it needs to be on the larger side.

I usually recomend Hobie parts but for a snuffer I recomend Barefoot studio's SNU. I have had 4 different snuffers on my Tiger and that is by far the best snuffer with the easiest launch and retrieval.

Tell Dennis you want a bigger bag than the standard F-18 bag. He's a great guy and will work with youto get what you want done. He may even have some older models or used ones available.

Yeah hahaha...never thought of that.

Boston and Newport ehhhh? I lived on the cape and briefly just north of fall river. I actually got engaged in Newport at the breakers. How is the sailing newport with the beachcats?

Sailing in Newport is awesome, where else can you share the water with Moths, 1000s of Optis, Little Americas Cup boats, 12 meters ACC boats, Speedboat and vintage schooners from the early 1800s. It does get a bit crowded some weekends though, but I digress, it's still a great place to sail.

Try Dennis at barefoot he may have a used one that was traded in of had some blemishes in manufacture he would sell cheaper. the bag will have to be made for your spin but he may hook you up. Also $300 to save wear and tear on a $1200 spin is pretty cheap.

I have a stock snuffer as supplied with the Hobie Tiger through ~2006, and the sleeve that goes with it. If interested, you can contact me by email:

RCSchulzZ(at)aol(dot)com

I replaced it with a Barfoot Studios SNU of the type alluded to in previous replies.

A little heads up. Make sure that the snuffer ring will fit the your spin pole diameter. Older spin set ups tend to use a 2" diameter pole, while the newer ones use a smaller diameter.
