we will be using 4 bathroom scales .. not the best but it will have to do

You should use just two. It's more accurate.

If each scale accuracy is +/- 1lb, then the accuracy with two scales is +/- 2lbs; with 4, +/- 4lbs

You'll need a peice of plywood to go underneath the scales and a level area where we can weigh the boats.

Jeremy,

That was a sweet setup you used on the beach @ Havamega.

Is that something you own or something that was borrowed for the event ?

Stephen

I'm thinking I may have to arrange for some "sales calls" near OSYC that week since I am just up in Memphis. Dont think I will be in the race but would love to meet some of you guys.

By the way - while it is still a screw top it does have a classy red wax and is a smooth liquid on the rocks - Makers Mark made just above me in KY.

Mornin' Chris,

I was just re-reading through the thread about the 2011 NAC's in Ocean Springs, Mississippi .... and I think something important may have been overlooked ....

WHERE'S THE NEAREST ICE CREAM STAND !!!!

That is a important tradition amoung the H18/H17 Sailors .... that the new Champion buys a round of ice cream for their fellow class competitors ..... after the Awards Dinner.

That was one of my most favorite memory from the 2007 H18/H17 NAC's in Geneva NY .... Mr Jim Sohn waiting for us as we walked up to the local Ice Cream Stand and placed our order ....

The NAC H18 1st Place Trophy is nice to win .... but the trophy I really want is that reciept !!!!! .... to have the HONOR of paying for the ice cream .....

(Stephen ... you up for it ????? .... you win it .... and I'll have it "framed" for you.)
