Has anybody bought the trailer that is advertised with the wave? My dealer is trying to sell me a different steel trailer for $995 and says if I really want the aluminum one that comes with the wave it would be over $2000. Does it really cost that much? He says it's a pain to put together? I'm still trying to buy a used wave and trailer first but if I can't I will buy new.

The catalog lists the prices for the trailer. Ask the dealer for a catalog. The online version doesn't have prices, IRRC.

Trailex is the brand of the new trailer?? Their trailers are pricier that the Carnai brand that was in the catalog several years back. I have a Carnai; it's galvanized coated, not aluminum. It's a good trailer. Little stiff still on the leaf springs but time limbers all things up!

A number of folks trailer their Waves on just small flatbed trailers. Wave's not a heavy item. Aluminum trailer is a good long term trailer if you are in a salt water location.
