I was out today in about 20+ winds and thoughtout the day the lee rudder would rise up. I would have to slack off and press it back down and pick up speed. Once the blade was out of position I had some sever weather helm, and tacking.... Well...
I have searched the forum and hobie site for specs on these rudder system, hoping I need only make an adjustment
Looking for anyone else that had these probes, and directions for a fix

Not sure what cam system you have but if it is like all the current 17, 18, 20, Tiget etc then it should be a simple adjustment... I'm sure a Hobie Getaway expert will chime is soon :-)

... and yes, when that rudder kicks back weatherhelm galore!

It should have the easy lock rudder system with the small indents moulded into the rudder. What you need to do tighten the bolt in the middle of the rudder to put a little more pressure on the squeezing effect the small plastic pieces have on the rudder when they are either all the up or down, don't over tighten or the rudders will come too tight and will not move at all. You need to make sure you pin the rudders when not sailing otherwise the plastic housing could become distorted and consequently not lock properly.
