I own a TI but got to sail on an AI today. The AI is great boat too! Feels so different than the TI. Sailed with my buddy Ron today. Was just a great fun day and hot and windy. Good stuff!

I don't want to think of how many days we have to wait down this way until it get to 104.

Thanks for sharing. 'Where is the bow' is a screensaver.

LOL, yes I have renamed the AI to AIS. AI "Submarine". Going downwind and catching the waves is so much fun!

This picture has nothing to do with sailing - but I thought it was kind of cool.
I call it "Tri-Something". LOL. One of those is not a hummer!

Great pictures! It was certainly a good weekend for sailing. I took my recently acquired AI out on Lake Travis on Saturday, and took an evening peddle today to see the Congress Ave. bats without the amas and sail. Definitely better with the sail.

I plan to try Canyon Lake sometime, and would be glad to hear your advice on where to put in. I would be traveling from Austin.

Chris,

Thanks for the comments.

Canyon is nice lake - plenty of ramps - but lake it dropping and 3 ramps are closed already. More to close soon if level continues to drop. As more ramps close the remaining open ramps become more crowded.

Let me know if you head down this way - maybe we can meet-up for some sailing.

BTW: I like to launch from 23 (closer to my house) and now that it is closed 22. 23 has not been bad even on weekend. 22 was full on Saturday. My next choice would be 21.

Friend Ron lives near 1 and we launch from there on weekdays. Weekends can be very crowded on this one. 1 is nice cause it is near the dam and launching/loading is a bit easier when wind is from the S-SE.
