oais mirage 2011. steering line for rudder broke. cant find instructions for L shapped control. all instructions are for T shaped. looking for help, in what to do and understanding how it works.

I need instructions for a tandem 2011, whats online shows a T handle with each line connected to the two dofferent ens of the bar. my kayak has only one end and no diagram on support to see how the model works, apprectiate input

Here's the basic steering system: http://2010.archive.hobiecat.com/suppor ... Manual.pdf

The 2011 Oasis should use the same system but with a couple of minor modifications.

1. Two "L" cranks in parallel rather than a single "T" crank. This accomplishes the same thing but with fewer space constraints, allowing a less constricted cockpit.

2. Continuous loop system using a cheek block rather than terminating at the crank. This takes the static tension off the forward crank, compensating for the increased friction of using two handles.
