I've sailed Hobie 14's, 16's, and other small cats off-the-beach in the Gulf. I now have a Wave with 'back rests'. This may sound silly, but what's the recommended best method for launching the Wave (backrests on) in the surf? The only obvious option seems to be pulling the bows out into the surf and boarding the tramp from the front. Does anyone have any better ideas?

thanx,
bill

Rear corner I'd think. You can hold the rear of the back rest to line the boat up... push it from there and hop on over the transom.

Rear of the boat... what the rudders are attached to.
